Fuel Price Adjustment in Wapda Bills (FCA) (FPA)

(Nepra) National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has decided to add the extra tax to the Wapda Electricity Bills it is called Fuel Price Adjustment in Wapda Bills (FCA) (FPA). The government of Pakistan has overcharged bills in Wapda Bills in the month of July and August 2022. Nepra is the only approval authority that decides the amount of Fuel Price Adjustment, the autonomous body has said it is necessary to increase/decrease the Fuel Price Adjustment in Electricity Bills 2022.

National Electric Power Regulatory Authority The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has taken the decision and signed the notification dated 12 August 2022. On this date, the meeting was held on this noted subject Decision of the Authority in the matter of Fuel Charges Adjustment for the month of June 2022 for XWDISCOs along with Notification Thereof.
